The Chicago Bears have whittled their offseason roster down to the mandated 80-man limit by making the following moves.
- Offensive lineman Badara Traore was waived
- Offensive lineman Dareuan Parker was waived
- Running back CJ Marable was waived
- Defensive lineman Mike Pennel was placed on injured reserve
- Safety Jordan Lucas was placed on injured reserve.
All but that first move was reported by Brad Biggs via his Twitter.
The Bears will play one more preseason game this Saturday against the Tennessee Titans, and then by Tuesday, August 31, they’ll need to get their roster down to 53 players for the regular season.
