Chicago Bears Injury Update: Jeremy Langford out 4-6 weeks

A source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Chicago Bears’ running back Jeremy Langford, who was seen in a walking boot after Sunday’s game, will be out 4 to 6 weeks with an ankle sprain. The initial report of an Achilles injury makes the revelation of an ankle sprain good news. Langford’s injury coupled with the sore hamstring from Ka’Deem Carey, probably prompted today’s signing of ex-Lion Joique Bell.

Langford has struggled in the first three games of the season with a 3.7 yards per carry average, but to be fair, the offensive line hasn’t exactly been dominant.
