The Chicago Bears injury report hasn’t gotten much better after last week’s list of 15, although we did have one more Bear find his way to injured reserve. In case you missed it, corner Kyle Fuller was placed on IR and is lost for at least 8 more weeks. His knee injury just never got around to where the Bears were comfortable playing him, so the smart thing is to shut it down for now. Hindsight says they should have IR’ed him before week 1, but they were hopeful he’d recover.
As to the injured players on the active roster, Chicago lists five players as doubtful and all five were held out of Friday’s practice.
