Cody Whitehair is moving from center to guard. This could be the first statement in a case for Whitehair being a player whose stock is on the way down.
However, that would be taking out of context what exactly Whitehair is. He is quite possibly the best offensive lineman on the roster. His combination of physicality, athleticism, and understanding have made him an elite run blocker who goes untested against the pass.
His biggest issue by far has been snapping the football. What sounds easy for some has plagued a player who arguably is a more natural guard than the center.
