When Tyler Bray entered Week Four of the preseason, there was a clear indication that his job was on the line. Chase Daniel played excellent against the Kansas City Chiefs starters in Week Three of the preseason and looked like he had a firm grasp of the offense.
Tyler Bray was chugging along, but as a third quarterback, it felt as though the team needed depth elsewhere. That is why it is no surprise to see the Chicago Bears let go of Bray, electing to go with two quarterbacks instead of three.
There is a decent chance that Bray will clear waivers, and if a quarterback is hurt, Bray could be retained.
