The big problem with Chicago Bears free agency this year is that the team is currently up against the cap. Ryan Pace needs to be creative and move money around to try and make things work. The team will need a million or two just for their rookies. I would expect that Allen Robinson is extended soon. This should help at least a little.
The Khalil Mack trade is not one to include in this article. These are strictly free agent signings and not trades. Mack is easily the most impactful player the Chicago Bears have brought in, but he was not a free agent and the rules are different.
