The NFL is set to officially release their schedule later tonight at 7:00 PM (CT) simultaneously on the NFL Network, the NFL app and NFL.com. As they do every year, they have a big to-do planned with analysts breaking things down as games are revealed, but for many of us the whole thing ends up being anti-climatic.
Reason being, the socially media savvy is always able to piece together a full season schedule by following several NFL beat writers on Twitter. The news leaks early every year, and we always have the full Chicago Bears schedule long before the NFL Network’s three-hour spectacular kicks off.
