There are just a handful of quarterbacks in NFL history who have accomplished what Caleb Williams did in the Chicago Bears’ 31-27 win over the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the playoffs.
According to NFL on CBS, Williams is one of five quarterbacks to throw for two passing touchdowns while trailing in the fourth quarter of a playoff win in the last 20 years.
The Bears’ quarterback joins Matthew Stafford, who also accomplished those statistics last Saturday in the Los Angeles Rams’ 34-31 win over the Carolina Panthers, Patrick Mahomes (Super Bowl LIV), Tom Brady (2017 AFC Championship, Super Bowl XLIX), and Eli Manning (Super Bowl XLII).
