What a heartbreaking way to lose a game as the Chicago Bears were inches from pulling off a massive road win, but instead fell against the San Francisco 49ers 42-38 in Week 17.
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had one of the best games of his career after throwing for 330 yards and two touchdowns and rushing for another 18 yards. Williams came so close to getting his seventh fourth-quarter comeback win, but short-hopped his final pass in the end zone to fall just short of victory.
After the game, Williams expressed his frustration with how close the Bears were to winning, only to lose at the end.
