Caleb Williams' boisterous voice in Bears' offense might lead to dream results

In the Chicago Bears’ 42-38 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Caleb Williams gave his best attempt to match throw for throw against Brock Purdy.

The Bears’ quarterback finished 25 of 42 for 330 yards and threw two touchdowns. He wasn’t sacked a single time and finished with a 100.3 quarterback rating. Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle knew San Francisco was capable of making the game a shootout, so the offense prepared for a high-scoring affair.

“Caleb did a great job of maintaining composure, really the whole offense, coming in at halftime, being able to talk to those guys and look them in the eye and just really seeing no flinch from any of them, them being really confident about going out and executing,” Doyle said.
