Caleb Williams' answer to Ben Johnson critique is what Bears fans needed to hear

It's been pretty noticeable to Chicago Bears fans for a while that, despite the wins, quarterback Caleb Williams' accuracy continues to decline.

That trend continued in the Bears' 24-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles as Williams arguably had his worst game of the season. He completed just 17 of his 36 passes (under 48%) for 154 yards and one touchdown to one interception.

Bears head coach Ben Johnson stated (and had to clarify) that they acknowledge the passing game isn't where it needs to be, but are still happy with Williams' progress. The second-year quarterback backed his coach in knowing that he had to improve himself.
