What a performance it was for Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams as he almost completed his seventh fourth quarter comeback, but fell short as the Bears lost to the San Francisco 49ers 42-38 in Week 17 action.
Williams finished the game completing 25 of 42 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns, along with 18 rushing yards in the loss. On the final play of the game, though, Williams short-hopped a pass in the end zone to Jahdae Walker after running around in the pocket for over five seconds.
After the game, Williams described the chaos of the final play, admitting it seemed doomed from the start.
