The Bears have teamed with Comcast SportsNet to create a new installment of their Emmy Award-winning documentary series chronicling the life of Hall of Fame middle linebacker Dick Butkus.
The latest version of "Bears Classics presented by Xfinity" will debut at 9 p.m. Wednesday exclusively on CSN and feature arguably the most ferocious player in NFL history.
A local product who grew up on Chicago's south side, Butkus attended Chicago Vocational High School and the University of Illinois before playing his entire nine-year NFL career with the Bears from 1965-73.
