Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett had 1 ½ sacks against the Bears on Sunday, moving him within one sack of tying the NFL’s single-season record.
The Giants’ Michael Strahan and the Steelers’ T.J. Watt share the record, with 22 ½. Strahan set the mark in 2001 and Watt tied him 20 years later.
Garrett sacked Caleb Williams in the second quarter and got credit for one-half of a sack in the fourth quarter in the 31-3 Bears win at Soldier Field.
Garrett seems destined to set the record at some point this season — he has three games left to play.
