CINCINNATI — The Bears have usually been the ones smoldering and trying to pick up the pieces after a loss, but this time, they left the Bengals reeling after a 47-42 win Sunday.
The Bengals rallied from a 41-27 deficit with two late touchdowns to take a 42-41 lead with just under a minute left, but Bears quarterback Caleb Williams won it with a 58-yard touchdown pass to Colston Loveland. The Bengals missed two tackles on that play that could’ve completely changed the ending given that the Bears were barely in field-goal range and were out of timeouts, and NFL Next Gen Stats charted them at 15 missed tackles for the game, which cost them an extra 133 yards.
