Last week, most of the projected starters for the Chicago Bears sat out of the 24-24 tie against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1 of the preseason. This week, Bears head coach Ben Johnson didn't make everyone wait until the end of the week to share his unsurprising news.
During his press conference on Wednesday, Johnson told the media the starters would be playing in Sunday's preseason matchup against the Buffalo Bills. It's not known how many drives or snaps they will be in for, but all of this was already designed from the beginning by Johnson to get his quarterback, Caleb Williams, and the rest of the players up to speed.
