At the beginning of training camp, Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson set a goal for his quarterback, Caleb Williams, to reach a completion percentage of 70%. So far, Williams isn't quite there.
Johnson spoke with the media about Williams' progress through over three weeks of training camp. He talked about how Williams is hovering around 55% at the moment.
"We’ve been underneath that bar. We’re learning, we’re growing. Early on we were probably 55%. It’s gotten better as camp has gone on but we haven’t hit that threshold as often as we would like.
