Bears receiver Rome Odunze returned to practice Friday for the first time since Dec. 12.
He was a limited participant and was officially ruled as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Lions.
Bears coach Ben Johnson vowed that Odunze would return to the Bears at some point this season after navigating through a chronic foot issue that has nagged him since earlier in the season. It’s unclear whether Friday’s participation makes playing Sunday a real possibility or is just a jump-start on returning for the playoffs.
