The Bears likely will wait at least another week, perhaps two, to get top wide receiver Rome Odunze back on the field. Odunze missed practice again Wednesday because of a foot injury, increasing the likelihood he’ll sit Sunday against the 49ers.
Odunze played through what appeared to be plantar fasciitis early in the season, but he has a stress fracture in his foot now and hasn’t played since Nov. 28 against the Eagles.
Bears coach Ben Johnson was adamant this week that Odunze is not out for the season.
