LANDOVER, Md. — Bears receiver DJ Moore returned home Tuesday after being forced to spend the night in a Washington, D.C.,-area hospital after his team’s 25-24 win against the Commanders.

Coach Ben Johnson said Tuesday that Moore was kept back after suffering a groin injury.

“The good news is he’s back in Chicago now and we’ll take him day-by-day,” he said. “We did get good news there from that visit.”

The Bears categorized his stay as precautionary. Moore was joking in the Bears’ locker room immediately after the game but was later spotted leaving Northwest Stadium in an ambulance, headed to a hospital for evaluation.
