The Bears will play quarterback Caleb Williams in Sunday’s preseason game against the Bills (7 p.m., Fox 32, 1000-AM, 93.5-FM) , head coach Ben Johnson said before Wednesday’s practice.
He had hinted at as much last week when he said Williams figured to play at least a little bit in exhibition games this year. Teams typically play the back end of their roster in the third preseason game.
The rest of the team’s starters will play, too. Johnson said the amount of time each will play will be determined this week.
