Bears will have 25th pick in this year's draft

When their season ended Sunday night, the Bears were assured of the 25th overall pick in this year’s draft.

They got the pick by virtue of having a worse record than the other three teams that lost in the divisional round. The Bears went 11-6, while the Bills, Texans and 49ers all went 12-5.

The 25th pick will be the latest Bears first-round pick since 2011, when they drafted tackle Gabe Carimi No. 29. Since 2015, the Bears have either drafted in the top 11 of the first round or not at all.
