The Chicago Bears gave us an exciting game from whistle to whistle as they knocked off the Tennessee Titans 23 to 17 in the preseason opener for both teams. They started out strong on offense, and the defense pitched a shutout in the second half. Plenty of players flashed, but we're talking about practice, so we can't get too high or low over what we saw.
As for the team statistics, the Titans had more total yards, 372 to 337, more first downs, 20 to 13, they ran more plays, 72 to 53, and they won the time of possession, 32:52 to 27:08.
