In the midst of an uneven training camp, Mitch Trubisky had one noteworthy spate of success in an early 7-on-7 drill in the red zone. He completed 4-of-5 passes for touchdowns — to running back Tarik Cohen, wide receiver Anthony Miller, tight end Adam Shaheen and wide receiver Allen Robinson.
The throws to Miller (beating Kyle Fuller for the catch in the end zone), Shaheen (a diving catch over the middle) and Robinson (a reaching grab against Fuller in the front corner of the end zone) were the most impressive.
