I was in the camp that Poles should've drafted Oline and WR over S and CB in the draft so that Bears get a proper evaluation of Fields [NTM, keeping him alive]
But if you strip down needs and just look at "talent", it can be validly argued Gordon and Brisker were the best on the board at that point in the draft
Now we got a young, big athletic WR who is only 23
Would a better WR prospect be available for Bears at the top of the 2nd? Who knows
Claypool originally went 49 so it's in the wheelhouse
And Steelers have a pretty good track record with drafting WRs, so in some sense, who you gonna trust more to draft a WR, a brand new GM, or Steelers with a longer better track record?
