Bears to re-sign Prince Amukamara

The Bears and general manager Ryan Pace already did well to take care of their offensive skill positions in free agency on Tuesday, so now they can turn to tidying up their defense. Their first free agent defensive move is re-signing Prince Amukamara to once again play as their second cornerback, reports Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.

After signing a one-year deal in 2017, the 28-year-old Amukamara went out and enjoyed one of his most consistently solid seasons in the NFL with the Bears.

In 14 starts, Amukamara acted as a quality coverage cornerback opposite the steady Kyle Fuller and attained 46 tackles to go with six passes defensed.
