Jordan Elliott followed Robert Saleh from San Francisco to Tennessee this past offseason. An incident in which the veteran defensive tackle retrieved his gun from his parked car resulted in a Titans release last month, though.
Elliott remains a free agent at this time. The NFL’s investigation into the events which led to Tennessee cutting him is ongoing, and a suspension would not come as a surprise. Nevertheless, at least one suitor is in place with Elliott’s future still unclear.
The Bears will host Elliott for a workout next week, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports. A signing with Chicago would allow for Elliott to reunite with Jeffery Simmons, who was dealt from the Titans to the Bears in a blockbuster trade prior to the upcoming deadline.
