Bears' stunning move out of left field actually solved two massive problems

Just one day before facing off against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14, the Chicago Bears decided to make a move to the roster.

The Bears announced they have signed offensive lineman Jordan McFadden from the practice squad to be on the active roster. Chicago also waived linebacker Carl Jones Jr. and elevated linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin from the practice squad.

McFadden has appeared in two games for the Bears this season with just six snaps on special teams. Jones played in nine games, racking up 11 tackles. Reeves-Maybin will play his second straight game after appearing in 16 snaps on special teams.
