Josh Rounds’ agent Fischman & Wiltz tweeted at 3:40 today that the Tulane running back signed with the Chicago Bears. No news yet as to who the Bears will cut to keep their roster at 90 players.
Per Chicago Sun Times writer Adam Jahns, the Bears tried out multiple running backs at camp today before choosing Rounds.
Rounds played four years at Tulane and averaged 6.1 yards per carry in his senior year (5.9 average for his college career). He totaled 758 yards and 7 TDs over that senior season.
He showed some promising athleticism at his Pro Day.
