Bears sign Teez Tabor to the practice squad

According to today’s NFL wire, the Chicago Bears have signed defensive back Teez Tabor to their practice squad, and in a corresponding transaction they have moved wide receiver Reggie Davis from the practice squad to injured reserve.

Tabor was originally a second round draft pick of the Detroit Lions in 2017, and he played for them for two years making 5 starts in 22 appearances. He spent the 2019 season on the practice squad of the San Francisco 49ers, until they released him with a non-football injury designation this summer.

The Bears were without starting corner Jaylon Johnson, starting nickelback Buster Skrine, and reserve safety Deon Bush in their last game, and at today’s practice all three were held out.
