The Bears have signed seventh-round pick Khyiris Tonga to a four-year rookie deal, according to a tweet from his agency DEC Management made on Wednesday.
Tonga is the first of the Bears’ rookie class from the 2021 NFL Draft to sign his rookie contract. The former BYU defensive lineman was selected with No. 250 overall pick in the draft. According to Spotrac, his 2021 cap hit is expected to be $680,912.
In his four seasons at BYU, Tonga tallied 130 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks.
