The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve signed CB Marcus Cooper to a three-year contract on Saturday.
Cooper had also been linked to the Steelers and Jets in recent days, but he recently took a visit to Chicago and it appears as though the Bears managed to close the deal.
Cooper, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 49ers’ 53-man roster during his rookie season, but was later claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs.
Last year, the Chiefs traded Cooper to the Cardinals in return for a conditional 2018 seventh-round pick.
