Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is out Sunday against the Browns after aggravating his foot injury. He initially was declared active, but hurt his foot in pre-game warmups and was scratched shortly before kickoff. He will miss his second consecutive game.
Odunze is the team’s leading wide receiver with 44 catches for 661 yards and six touchdowns
The Bears are thinner at quarterback against the Browns after adding backup Tyson Bagent to the injury report with an illness the morning of the game and ruling him out.
That’s not a significant concern as long as starter Caleb Williams gets through the game healthy, and he has played every snap other than Bagent taking over at the end of a Week 2 blowout loss to the Lions.
