Bears coach Ben Johnson described the Steelers’ scary defensive ends as a bunch of “werewolves.”
The Bears will try to stop them with a rookie Sunday. Ozzy Trapilo, one of the team’s three second-round picks, will start at left tackle Sunday at Soldier Field after the team ruled Theo Benedet out with a quad injury.
Trapilo has never started an NFL game and has spent the last month being used regularly as an extra blocker. The Bears called up Jordan McFadden from the practice squad Saturday to provide extra cover at the position.
