As expected, Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze will sit out the season finale.
Odunze is inactive for the Bears’ Week 18 game Sunday against the Lions at Soldier Field. He returned to practice Friday for the first time since Dec. 12 and was technically questionable to play. Still, he wasn’t able to commit to returning even for the Bears’ first playoff game next week.
Odunze has been dealing with various chronic foot issues all year, one of which was exacerbated during the team’s win in Philadelphia on Nov. 28. He expected to play against the Browns on Dec.
