Bears QB Mitch Trubisky is hurting, but on track to start vs. Saints

Mitch Trubisky will wear a shoulder harness and he’ll be in pain, but that doesn’t deter him from wanting to make his return for the Bears on Sunday.

He’s been back in practice this week after suffering a dislocated left shoulder that kept him out of two games and was a full participant Wednesday. Since the injury doesn’t seem to hinder his throws, the issue of whether he starts at quarterback against the Saints comes down to whether he can take a hit.

“I’ve just gotta show the training staff and the coaches that my shoulder and everything is strong enough to be able to put me out there,” Trubisky said.
