Bears QB Justin Fields injured, heads to locker room

Fields completed 6 of 10 passes for 58 yards with an interception before getting injured in the third quarter.

Bears quarterback Justin Fields went to the injury tent and then the locker room after being sacked five minutes into the second half of Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

Fields was holding his right arm gingerly. The team has not given a reason for his departure.

Rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent warmed up. He’s the Bears’ second-string quarterback. Veteran Nathan Peterman can’t be used, by league rule, unless Bagent is hurt.
