For the third time in as many games, the NFC Offensive Player of the Week came from the Bears’ game. For the first time, though, it was their own quarterback.
Caleb Williams was given the award Wednesday, three days after posting the best stats of his young career in a 17-point win against the Cowboys at Soldier Field. Williams went 19-for-28 for 298 yards and a career-best 142.6 passer rating. He threw four touchdowns — to four different receivers — which prompted a local hot dog stand to give out free food on Tuesday.
