The Chicago Bears announced Monday that John DeFilippo was being promoted to Quarterbacks Coach/Passing Game Coordinator. DeFilippo previously held the Quarterbacks Coach position while Dave Ragone, now the Offensive Coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons, was the Passing Game Coordinator.
DeFilippo, who came to the Bears in 2020, has had a fairly long career as an NFL coach, holding positions with the New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
