Bears plan to work out defensive tackle Jordan Elliott

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Chicago Bears intend to work out former Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jordan Elliott next week. The soon-to-be 29-year-old is a 6’5″, 325-pounder with 65 starts and 102 games played in his career, who was released by the Titans on October 20.

On Thursday, October 15, Elliott had an altercation at practice with his teammate, offensive lineman JC Latham, and he was told to leave the field. He left the facility, went to his car in the players’ parking lot, and grabbed a gun. Another teammate, defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, de-escalated the moment without further incident.
