The Bears plan to play their starters against the Chiefs in their exhibition finale Friday. How long they’ll be in the game remains an open question.
Bears coach Ben Johnson did not speak to local media Tuesday but told said on the “Up & Adams with Kay Adams” that he planned to play his starters. The length of time will be determined by how the Bears perform in Wednesday’s full, padded practice.
One day earlier, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he’d do the same, but left the duration open, saying that “we’ll see how it goes from there.
