The Bears hope to bring slot cornerback Kyler Gordon back to practice this week to see if he’s able to play in Saturday’s playoff game against the Packers, coach Ben Johnson said Monday afternoon.
The Bears need help at slot cornerback after C.J. Gardner-Johnson was concussed in Sunday’s loss to the Lions. He remains in the concussion protocol, Johnson said.
Gordon missed 14 games this season with various injuries, most recently a groin problem that landed him on injured reserve for the second time this season. He’s played only 117 snaps this season, and none since Nov.
