BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- Former Chicago Bears top pick Leonard Floyd’s second NFL training camp is going much smoother than the first.
Floyd has not missed a single workout since the Bears began practicing on July 27, a far cry from last summer when Floyd -- taken ninth overall in 2016 -- had to leave the team’s very first practice with an illness.
Floyd went on to record seven sacks in 12 games as a rookie, but calf and concussion problems curtailed his overall effectiveness.
