On the Bears’ first Monday practice of the regular season, they worked in a new left guard, a new kicker, a new (but old) long snapper, assorted new position players and it sounds like a new center.
“Today’s not just about being excited about the changes that occurred over the weekend,” Bears general manager Ryan Pace said Monday at Halas Hall. “But today is the start of the regular season and I’m fired up about that. All the focus is on the Houston Texans. The roster stuff is settling in right now. It’s really, really a fun time of year and I’m looking forward to the start of the season.
