For everything the Lions have built in their impressive climb from punching bag to title contender, the Packers and new weapon Micah Persons knocked them flat Sunday with a 27-13 win at Lambeau Field.
The Lions’ offense struggled in its first game without Ben Johnson as offensive coordinator, but they aren’t going anywhere. Johnson’s Bears will be a heavy underdog when they visit Ford Field next week after opening the season Monday against the Vikings.
