Bears Meet With Golladay

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Chicago Bears met with Kenny Golladay on Wednesday night. Although Golladay most recently played for Detroit, he has connections to the region, having played for NIU and having been born and raised in Chicago.

Drafted in the third round (in 2017), Golladay has amassed more than 3000 yards and averages 9.7 yards per target in his four seasons. He has attracted attention from the Bengals already, and he is visiting with the Giants next.

This is an interesting move on the part of the Bears, since they have applied the franchise tag already to Allen Robinson and as they have drafted a number of wide receivers in recent years.
