SANTA CLARA, Calif. — After posting the best game of his young career, Bears receiver Luther Burden had to get to the locker room on a cart Sunday night.
He said afterward, though, that it was a function of his effort, not necessarily an injury.
“I gave my all out there, bro,” he said after the game. “So I’m tired as hell.”
Burden, who missed the Packers game last week because of a sprained ankle, led the Bears with eight catches and 138 yards in the team’s 42-38 loss to the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium.
