Bears linebacker T.J. Edwards was carted off the field and had his left leg put in an aircast after suffering a non-contact ankle injury about four minutes into the first quarter Saturday night.
Edwards was writhing in pain after collapsing on the field away from the play, which was an incomplete pass by Jordan Love as he was hit by Bears defensive end Austin Booker.
He was replaced by linebacker D’Marco Jackson, who won NFC Defensive Player of the Week earlier this year.
Edwards’ teammates urgently waved trainers over to him.
