Bears just got royally screwed by the refs with embarrassing blunder

Chicago Bears fans are still trying to figure out what happened at the end of the first half of the Detroit Lions' Week 2 matchup.

It started with the Lions driving down the field before the end of the second quarter, where Jared Goff connected with Isaac TeSlaa on a spectacular one-handed 29-yard completion to the Bears' four-yard line. The problem came with what the referees did after that.

Detroit was running up to the line and spiking the ball, but there wasn't any time left. The referees then announced they were supposed to stop the clock with 16 seconds left and have a 10-second runoff to make it six seconds left.
