Bears top wide receiver Rome Odunze is progressing toward a return and was limited in practice Wednesday. Odunze is working through multiple issues in his foot and has been out since November.
He played through what appeared to be plantar fasciitis for much of the season, but developed a stress fracture as well. The team thought it would get him back for the Dec. 14 game against the Browns, but he aggravated the injury in pre-game warmups and was scratched shortly before kickoff.
Odunze led the Bears with 44 catches for 661 yards and six touchdowns before being shelved.
